We treat adults with alcohol use disorder at every stage of recovery, from those just beginning to step away from alcohol to those maintaining long-term sobriety with ongoing clinical support.

Our alcohol rehab programs are 100% outpatient. We do not provide inpatient or residential care. For clients who require medically supervised alcohol detox before beginning outpatient treatment, our Detox Concierge coordinates free placement into trusted detox facilities before transitioning you into our program.

Alcohol Rehab Programs We Offer

We offer two outpatient levels of care for alcohol addiction, plus detox coordination for clients who need it first.

• Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): 9+ clinical hours per week, structured group and individual therapy, morning or evening scheduling to fit your life
• Outpatient Treatment: 1 to 3 sessions per week, step-down care after IOP or for clients with a stable recovery foundation
• Detox Concierge: free coordination of medically supervised alcohol detox before outpatient treatment begins
• Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT): Vivitrol (naltrexone), Campral (acamprosate), and Antabuse (disulfiram) coordination where clinically appropriate
• Co-occurring Mental Health Treatment: anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, dual diagnosis
• Family Therapy and family education groups

Why Medical Detox May Come First

Alcohol withdrawal can be dangerous and, in severe cases, life-threatening. Symptoms such as seizures and delirium tremens (DTs) require medical supervision. If you have been drinking heavily or daily for an extended period, or if you have a history of alcohol withdrawal complications, you may need medically supervised detox before starting outpatient treatment.

Archangel Behavioral Health does not provide on-site detox. Our Detox Concierge coordinates free placement into trusted, licensed medical detox facilities in New Jersey. Once detox is complete, you begin our IOP or outpatient program with a clean, safe foundation.
